Coral Bliss

This cake is my favorite wedding cake I have done, but probably just because so many hours went in to the hand piping all the way around the tiers. The detail, vibrant color contrast, and soft detail of the flower topper all came together to make a beautiful cake for this gorgeous wedding.

Marriage is a Wild Ride

This was a really fun rehearsal dinner cake to do as a surprise for the groom. The couple had their first date at Disneyland, first kiss on just after riding Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, and Kevin popped the question during the Disneyland fireworks. To incorporate all of these special moments I modeled a ride vehicle from   Mr. Toad's - with the vehicle number on the back as the same day as their wedding - a bride and groom as the riders, a mickey ear hat with their names, and - not pictured here - had sprinklers lit and placed in the back of the cake when it was presented to the couple to represent the Disneyland fireworks. I loved the creative challenge of getting all of these elements into one cake and LOVE the final result!

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

This was a chocolate cake with mini Krispy Kreme Doughnuts decorating the side... or as I like to call it, Diabetes waiting to happen.

Despicable Me Minion

Every time I see this cake I just want to throw back my head laugh and scream BANANA! I love minions and this is one of my favorite cakes I have every done, simply because I think the minions are so funny!

Champagne Toas

This was a Champagne themed wedding so I flavored the frosting with Champagne flavoring and air brushed gold over the final piping to give the shimmer of freshly poured glass of bubbly.

Classic White Wedding

This was a very tall and very skinny white cake for a simple rustic theme wedding.

Choose The Right

Congratulations to my sweet nephew you was baptized and is striving his best to Choose The Right every single day! Love you Mason!

CHOCO Bear Celebrate's Nurses WeeK

Children's Hospital's CHOCO Bear dresses up in a scrub top to celebrate all the wonderful Nurses at Children's Hospital of Orange County and all over the world!
Thank you for all you do to keep us healthy!

Texas or Bust

A co-worker and her husband were packing up and driving out to Texas to go back to school. For our final good-bye party I sculpted a cake in the shape of Texas with a giant dirt road down the middle. I printed off a Texas and College Station - where they were moving - road signs to mark the road.

Black, White, Pink and Of Course a Little Gold

This couple wanted vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with gold sprinkles to serve their guests and just wanted a small cake for them to be able to cut for pictures. For the cake cutting tier, I used a ribbon frosting technique and air blushed gold over the blush pink frosting.

Diet Coke Cupcakes

This was a Diet Coke explosion! I used Diet Coke in the cake batter, made coke can wrappers and created the sign to complete the display for this Diet Coke office party.

Happy Birthday Annie!

Just a simple cake to celebrate one of my favorite girls in the world... my roommate Annie!
It's dairy free cake with pink frosting and a little flourish of gold sprinkles on top.

Starry Night

This couple decided to elope and get married just the two of them and the officiator at Griffith Observatory. This was a tiny little cake inspired by the starry night sky at the observatory, the simplicity or their wedding, of course the romantic oil painting style of Vincent Van Gogh.

RAWR!!!!!!! T-Rex Dinosaur Cake

I so wish I would have remembered to take a picture of this cake before I set it in the box for transport because it turned out so darling and this picture does not do it justice.

The cake was for Santi's 3rd birthday, a little boy with a big dinosaur obsession. I molded the T-Rex out of fondant and below the dirt, where the archeologist like to dig, Santi's name and the number 3 were spelled out in white chocolate fossilized dinosaur bones. I had so much fun making this cake!

Ginger Peach

Ummm.... OK! These were roll back in your head moan out load DELICIOUS!!!!!
I got the recipe from a Martha Stewart cupcake cookbook. It's a peach cupcake with huge sweet peach chunks and a ginger cream cheese frosting. I think my lack of modesty here is all I need to say about these heaven sent summer treats.

Congratulations Michelle!

I made this cake to celebrate my friend's graduation from the Disney Emerging Leaders program! I decorated this delicious chocolate cake by piping words on the side that represent her amazing leadership qualities and highlight different roles she's had in her Disney career. She was so touch by the sentiment, and I say it's the best congratulations card you can get... because you can eat it! Yum!
